How to relieve your dispatchers

Many things have to be taken into account for the optimal scheduling of transport requests. Available vehicle capacities, date requests of the customers, relations and last but not least the driving times of the drivers. And then everything changes all the time. Not to mention the disruptions and delays in the transport process.

With the LiveDispo the dispatchers get a smart tool for the automated and anticipatory planning of transports as well as for the monitoring during transport. LiveDispo shows in real-time the impact of current events on current and future legs and connections.

The dispatcher can see at a glance how the planned arrival and departure times are affected by traffic jams, traffic controls or delays in loading and unloading, and whether rapid intervention is required.

LiveDispo controls the entire transport with all sections and modes of transport. Cut-off times and timetables of shipping companies, railways and airlines can be taken into account as well as the restrictions on driving and rest times, delivery times and agreed time window. In case of imminent delays the software automatically checks the availability of alternative time slots in different slot booking systems of shippers and ports. The LiveDispo thus offers early concrete solutions and relieves the dispatchers noticeably. Despite extensive automation, however, humans can intervene and decide on the processes at any time.

The forecasts for the further course of the transports are based primarily on the tracking data of the connected driver app as well as the real-time calculations of the integrated PTV xServer tour optimization system.
